New governance head at Norwegian oil fund

Anne Kvam, a legal director at paper producer Norske Skog, will replace Henrik Syse, as head of corporate governance at Norges Bank Investment Management, the Central Bank of Norway's sovereign wealth fund.

Kvam sits on the board of the charity Amnesty International Norway, and has sat on several corporate boards. She also has an MBA and a law degree. She praised Syse, who has headed the corporate governance department since its inception in 2005: "A solid groundwork for this work has been laid
