Polish opp party wants cbank head with no politics

The Polish opposition party, Democratic Left Alliance (SLD), will ask the president to choose the central bank head from among three candidates - Dariusz Filar, Jerzy Stopyra and Andrzej Slawinski.

SLD leader Leszek Miller told reporters on Thursday that his party would ask the president to choose one of these three candidates because they had no "political connotations".

Miller said that all five NBP head candidates named by the president were well prepared for the job but two of them, Leszek
