Delay in naming new c bank dep gov in Indonesia

INDONESIA - The House of Representatives is expected to delay the appointment of three new Bank Indonesia deputy governors because of a month-long recess starting Wednesday, the Jakarta Post reports.

The naming of the new deputy governors should have been finalized before 17 October. Central bank Governor Sjahril Sabirin had submitted a list of potential candidates to the House in February to replace Achwan, Dono Iskandar and Burhanuddin Abdullah.
