BOK appoints two new assistant governors

SOUTH KOREA - Choi Chang-ho, 54, director of the monetary policy department of the Bank of Korea (BOK), and Lee Jae-wook, 55, director of the international department, were promoted on Apr 4 to assistant governors of the central bank.

A graduate of the College of Commerce of Yonsei University, Choi joined the central bank in 1970 and served in the research department and the London office.

Lee, who graduated from the College of Commerce of Seoul National University, entered the BOK in 1969 and
