Brigita Schmognerova named EBRD Vice President

Brigita Schmognerova, a former minister in the Slovak Republic and senior figure at the UN, has been appointed the new EBRD Vice President, Human Resources & Administration.

Ms Schmognerova is currently an Executive Secretary at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Before joining the UN three years ago, she held a number of senior political positions in the Slovak Republic including Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, and led implementation of reforms in the banking sector
