Risk management salaries tend to increase with team size, the Risk Management Benchmarks 2022 show. 

Seventeen central bank officials provided data on the average annual salary of full-time employed staff working in risk management areas. 

Converted to US dollars, the minimum was $12,947 at an upper-middle income central bank in the Asia-Pacific region – the maximum was $172,862 at a high income jurisdiction in Europe. The median was $30,000.
