American central banks less likely to struggle with fintech recruitment

But American banks face toughest battle for talent retention

Over half of central banks from the Americas say they do not struggle with financial technology talent recruitment, in contrast to the global trend, the Fintech Benchmarks 2025 find.

Out of seven American respondents, 57.1% say they have no recruitment difficulty. By contrast, most respondents from other regions are faced with this challenge. In general, two-thirds (65.6%) of all 32 institutions that answered the question say they struggle to recruit fintech specialists.
