Wide gap between some central banks’ communications budgets

But comms salaries are fairly level between high and middle income groups

Central banks from high and middle income countries report widely different budgets for their communications teams, though the gap in salaries is smaller.

Five central banks from high income countries, seven in upper-middle income countries and three from lower-middle income countries contributed data for both salary and communications department budgets. 

For the five central banks in high income countries, communications budgets ranged between $91,800 and $6,600,000, and the average was $1
