Vast majority of central banks provide communications training

Social media, writing skills and public speaking emerged as key areas

Most central banks offer training to their communications team across a range of areas, with some also offering training to senior managers.

Thirty-two of the 35 central banks that participated in the Communications Benchmarks said communications training is provided to staff. Some respondents provided details of the type of training provided, including three central banks that mentioned training for senior officials beyond the communications team.
