The third group of 2018 Central Banking Awards winners was unveiled today (January 24), with the Bank of Canada winning the overall prize for central bank of the year. PriceStats, Perago and De La Rue were also recognised.

Canada has enjoyed solid macroeconomic performance for many years under its central bank’s stewardship, with controlled inflation and a banking sector that emerged largely unscathed from the 2008 crisis.
