Robin Darbyshire is an independent consultant, who has worked on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards at central banks on behalf of the International Monetary Fund. He was previously responsible for the accounts of the Bank of England and was a member of the committee that drafted the original accounting rules for the Eurosystem central banks.
