Oksana Leukhina and Mary Suiter
Oksana Leukhina is a senior economist and research officer in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis. She is also a member of the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity (Markets Network and Family Inequality Network) at the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics at the University of Chicago.
Mary Suiter is an assistant vice-president and economic education officer at the St Louis Fed. At the bank, she leads a team of educators who develop educational resources for use with within the US school system, as well as by adults, and provide professional development for educators. Prior to joining the St Louis Fed, Suiter was director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education at the University of Missouri–St. Louis for three years and associate director for 10 years. She is former president of the National Association of Economic Educators (NAEE), and served on the writing committee for the first edition of the Voluntary national content standards in economics and the National standards for financial literacy.
