Li Dongrong
Li Dongrong is president of the National Internet Finance Association of China (NIFA), and a professor and an academic committee member of the Post-Doctorate Research Center of the Financial Research Institute under the People’s Bank of China (PBoC).
Prior to joining the NIFA, he served as deputy governor of the PBoC, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, chairman of the China Financial Standardization Technical Committee and member of China’s National Narcotics Control Commission.
Li has particular experience in monetary policy, foreign exchange management, anti-money laundering, currency circulation and financial technology, and holds a PhD in economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing.
