Jean-Claude Trichet
Jean-Claude Trichet served as president of the European Central Bank from 2003 to 2011, Previously, he was in charge of the French Treasury before moving to govern the Banque de France in 1993. Since late 2010 and until the end of October 2011, Trichet was also the chairman of the European Systemic Risk Board. He now chairs the board of directors at Bruegel and leads the Group of 30 in the same capacity.
