Denmark to join eurozone’s T2 and Tips systems
National Bank of Denmark expects to fully transition by April 2025
The National Bank of Denmark signed an agreement to join the Eurosystem’s liquidity management and payments system, T2, and its instant payments system, Target Instant Payment Settlement (Tips), it announced on March 21.
Providing secure payments to Danes has been one of the central bank’s most important objectives, governor Christian Kettel Thomsen said.
