BIS warns of further shockwaves in ‘generation-defining’ crisis
Solvency crisis is looming on the horizon and health crisis is far from over, BIS officials say
Central bank policy has been stretched almost to its limit but the world has not yet escaped from the Covid-19 crisis, senior officials at the Bank for International Settlements warn.
The BIS annual economic report, published today (June 30) warns against complacency at a time when most economies are still embroiled in a “generation-defining” crisis.
