LCH first clearing house to sign up to ISO 20022 harmonisation charter
Charter produced by Swift sets out measures for harmonising the implementation of ISO 20022
LCH Group has become the first central counterparty (CCP) to sign up to Swift's ISO 20022 harmonisation charter.
The clearing house is one of 17 financial market infrastructure (FMI) providers to have "endorsed" the charter, Swift said on June 7. LCH already uses ISO 20022 to send and receive collateral messages with its members, including margin call notifications.
