NBU appoints Sharov to its int'l relations dept

UKRAINE - The National Bank of Ukraine has appointed Professor Oleksandr Sharov to replace Oleksandr Kireiev as the director of its international relations department, the National Bank of Ukraine's press service has announced.

Until his appointment, Sharov, 47, worked at the Ternopil economics academy.

Sharov was previously the deputy head of the commission for trade in precious metals at the Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange.
