Ministers see tough few months ahead for eurozone
With eurozone growth now predicted to be less than 1 per cent in 2002, many ministers believe the long-awaited acceleration in growth could still be some way off.
Charlie McCreevy, Irish finance minister, summarised the downbeat mood when he said: "The projections for 2003 are on the downside. There is nothing to look forward to globally in the next year
