US agencies conduct ‘policy sprints’ to tackle crypto risks

Approach modelled around “tech sprints” aims to get results quickly

US Federal Reserve, Washington, DC

US regulatory agencies including the Federal Reserve have run a series of “policy sprints” to quickly develop an approach to regulating crypto assets.

The Fed, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency conducted joint exercises to help develop a co-ordinated approach to tackling risks in the sector.
