BIS targets green bond growth with launch of Asian fund

The Bank for International Settlements launched its third green bond fund today (February 25), as it looks to ramp up its asset management services for central banks, with a particular focus on sustainable investing.

The new fund comprises green investments in Asia, including sovereign debt, bonds issued by international financial institutions, and corporate bonds that meet high environmental standards. The fund is open-ended and denominated in dollars. Several central banks are understood to
