Fed to finalise balance sheet plans in upcoming meetings – Mester
Discussions over final size and future use of the balance sheet underway at the central bank
The Federal Reserve will finalise its plans to end balance sheet normalisation in coming meetings, Cleveland Fed president Loretta Mester said on February 12.
“At coming meetings, we will be finalising our plans for ending the balance sheet runoff and completing balance sheet normalisation,” Mester said in remarks at a Financial Executives International event.
