PBoC continues with communications overhaul

Central bank aims to publish Chinese and English communications simultaneously in the future

The People’s Bank of China is taking increasing strides to improve its communications, most notably by increasing the volume of material it produces in English and reducing the time frame in which it is published.

“The PBoC has mobilised more resources in improving our website, both Chinese and English versions,” Bai Xuefei, an official from the central bank’s international department, tells Central Banking.
