Bank Indonesia’s Warjiyo nominated for a second term
Few governors have served two terms in the central bank’s history
Indonesia’s president Joko Widodo has nominated central bank governor Perry Warjiyo for another five-year term.
The president has submitted Warjiyo’s name to parliament as his sole candidate for the post, according to Said Abdullah, who heads the budget committee in parliament. The president can send at most three names to parliament.
