People: Sarb and BoE renew senior appointments
Senior Sarb and BoE officials receive new terms; MAS picks new assistant managing director; and more
South Africa: Kuben Naidoo, South African Reserve Bank deputy governor, has been appointed to a second term by the country’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
Naidoo will serve for another five years, until the end of March 2025. As well as serving as one of three deputy governors, Naidoo is chief executive of the Sarb’s Prudential Authority, overseeing banking and insurance supervision in South Africa.
