President Donald Trump may soon make another nomination to fill one of the remaining two seats on the Federal Reserve board.

Conservative economist Judy Shelton, a Trump economic adviser and gold standard advocate, is rumoured to be the president’s next pick, Bloomberg News reports. Shelton has reportedly been contacted by the White House.

While there has been no official record of any discussions regarding the nomination, Shelton responded “Thank you, sir” on Twitter to Republican
