People: Ghana’s Addison to chair Ecowas governors

The governor of the Bank of Ghana, Ernest Addison, will become the next chairman of the committee of governors of the Economic Community of West African States (Ecowas).

The announcement took place during a meeting of the West African Monetary Zone in Accra. Addison will replace Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, as chairman.
