Authorities must properly implement proposed loan reforms, joint statement says

The banking system in Cyprus "continues to heal" but it is "essential" for the country to increase the pace of its economic reform, a joint team from several international institutions has reported.

Staff teams from the European Central Bank (ECB), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Commission visited Cyprus from November 3 to November 13 to review the progress of the government's economic reforms. The country is receiving financial assistance from the European Stability
