IDB announces organisational restructure

Bank creates new VP role and divisions, and elevates chief economist

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced an organisational restructuring on October 21.

A new role of vice-president for human resources and digital transformation has been created with the aim of fostering a meritocratic, collaborative and innovative environment.

The bank has also created three new divisions: a strategic operational quality review division, with the aim of improving project management; a labour markets and social protection division; and a citizen security division.
