ECB selects possible topics for new banknotes

“European culture” and “rivers and birds” enter final selection phase

The governing council of the European Central Bank (ECB) moved closer to finalising the design of the new series of euro banknotes on November 30, choosing “European culture” and “rivers and birds” as the two possible themes for the notes.
