Inflation often misunderstood: Atlanta Fed’s Lockhart
Dennis Lockhart, the president of the Atlanta Federal Reserve, on Tuesday said recent reports about rising prices in narrow categories were often being misinterpreted as inflation.
At the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Anniston, Alabama, Lockhart said: "Inflation affects all prices. Inflation is not the rise of individual prices or the rise of categories of prices.
