Netherlands at the ‘forefront’ of global reforms, says FSB
Peer review gives Netherlands high marks, but issues remain
The Netherlands is "at the forefront of international reforms" to macro-prudential and crisis-management toolkits, the Financial Stability Board (FSB) said yesterday in a report on a peer review of the Netherlands.
The report presents the results of the Netherlands' peer review following a Financial Sector Assessment Program in 2010, the first conducted under a new handbook released in January. The FSB said "much has been accomplished", but did identify a number of issues.
