BoE: Asset Purchase Facility Quarterly Report (2010 Q2)

Concerns over the fiscal state of some euro-area sovereigns during the second quarter of 2010 led investors to tap the Bank of England's Asset Purchase Facility (APF) for credit, the Bank's second quarter report on the facility, published on Monday, said.

The report said increased concerns about the fiscal adjustment of some euro-area member states, and banks' exposure to sovereign debt fed through into other risky asset prices, such as corporate bonds, and led to increased volatility and
