Lockhart says US economy has reached “transitional” juncture
The president of the Federal Reserve of Atlanta has said he does not yet expect US fiscal policy to have a major stimulative effect in the next three years.
"Many in the business and financial community are anticipating improved growth prospects with the change of administration in Washington," Dennis Lockhart said. "Speaking only for myself, I have not factored fiscal stimulus and regulatory change into my growth forecast."
