The former governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Dwight Venner, has died at the age of 70 after serving the institution for 26 years, the bank announced on December 23. Venner served as governor of the central bank from 1989 to 2015, making him one of the world's longest-serving central bank governors.
