Mongolia governor replaced two years before end of term
Bayartsaikhan Nadmid, chairman of the supervisory board of the National Agricultural Co-operative Federation, takes over
Bayartsaikhan Nadmid has taken office as the new Bank of Mongolia governor, replacing Naidansuren Zoljargal two years before his term was due to expire.
The appointment of Bayartsaikhan was confirmed on July 20. He joins from the National Agricultural Co-operative Federation, where he had chaired the supervisory board since 2014.
Naidansuren had been governor since 2012, after he was promoted from the role of deputy. No reason was given for his departure.
