Financial Conduct Authority announces Georgina Philippou as COO
United Kingdom: Georgina Philippou will become the final person to join the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) executive committee, when she takes up her new role as chief operating officer in November.
Tracey McDermott, the FCA's acting chief executive, praised Philippou's "wealth of regulatory experience" both in the UK and overseas. "That's invaluable in ensuring the FCA is able to operate effectively across all its priorities and objectives," she said.
