Academic takes over at Bosnian central bank
Bosnia’s newly appointed central banking board names economist governor
The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) came under new management today (August 12), as the academic economist Senad Softić took over from Kemal Kozarić as governor.
Softić was chosen as governor by the five members of the CBBH's governing board, which includes both Softić himself and his predecessor Kozarić. He will serve a six-year term.
Kozarić retains his place on the board, while the other four members are newly appointed by the presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina – a three-person
