NBKR running ahead of government plans on financial literacy
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) is leading a broad push to boost financial literacy in the country, with press relations at the heart of the new communications strategy.
In an unusual move, the central bank yesterday held an awards ceremony for the best press coverage of microfinance in the Kyrgyz Republic across print, radio and TV. CentralBanking.com was sadly ineligible for an award due to the lack of an English language category.
