Ecuador seeks cen bank, fin min say on oil policy

A committee designed to expand Ecuador's oil output will include the president of the central bank of Eduador. The committee will work together for a year, a presidential decree made public Monday said.

Ecuador has created a committee giving the Central Bank and Finance Ministry a greater say in the nation's energy policy as it strives to expand oil output and revenues, the government said on Monday.

In an executive decree made public on Monday, President Lucio Gutierrez appointed
