International communications, museum visits and speechwriting rank least

Central banks responding to the Communications Benchmarks 2024 consider media relations, social media and website updating as the functions most central to their operations.

Respondents graded various functionalities from 1 to 5. The function least central to communications is defined as 1, while 5 denotes the most central task.

Media relations received the topmost score with an average of 4.5. Social media (4.1) and updating the website (4.0) come ahead of graphic design (3.7).
