Juan Carlos Fábrega left the central bank after presidential criticism
An Argentinian federal prosecutor is formally investigating Juan Carlos Fábrega, who stepped down as governor of the central bank last week, over an alleged breach of duty.
Guillermo Marijuán, federal prosecutor, filed a request for an investigation on Fábrega and his brother on October 1, for the "crimes of abuse of authority and breach of duties of public servants, negotiations incompatible with public office, fraud and violation of treaties with foreign nations".
