Macedonian vice-governor assesses impact of European deleveraging
Maja Kadievska Vojnovik, a vice-governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, on October 25 said the country is not being deeply affected by the deleveraging of European banks, although he did say there is less credit available in the system as banks pursue "conservative corporate strategies".
Speaking at a summit of ministers of finance and central bank governors in Montenegro, Vojnovik said subsidiaries of European banks account for 55% of the Macedonia's banking system assets
