BoE’s Tucker discusses credit market lessons
Paul Tucker, a deputy governor of the Bank of England, gave a speech on June 12 discussing the boom and subsequent bust in credit markets during the financial crisis.
Delivering the Investment Property Forum's Alastair Ross Goobey Memorial Lecture, Tucker said there were "tough lessons" to be drawn from the crisis. He stressed the importance of recognising commercial banking as a potential risk alongside investment banking, and said particular risks emerge where the industry is highly
