Thai governor urges Asian market cooperation

The governor of the Bank of Thailand, Prasarn Trairatvorakul, on May 4 spoke at the Asian Development Bank's Regional Co-operation for Improved Financial Resilience and Liquidity Support: A Decade On and the Challenges Ahead event in Manila, the Philippines.

Discussing how greater co-operation and harmonisation of regulatory regimes could help support greater cross-border trading activities in Asia, the governor called on all relevant bodies to work together.
