BoE’s Broadbent discusses economic risks and stimulus

Ben Broadbent, an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) at the Bank of England, on March 14 spoke at a Market News International event in London.

In his speech he pondered what the build-up of debt by UK firms and households prior to the financial crisis reveals about the prospects for sustainable recovery, the key risks currently facing the economy and the implications for policymakers.
