Central banks should consider price-level targeting: CentralBanking.com poll

There is some merit in the idea of central banks switching to price-level targeting frameworks, more than half the respondents to a CentralBanking.com poll have said.

Fifty-three percent of those who voted in the poll, which went live on October 27, said there was merit behind the idea of switching to a price-level targeting framework. The second largest share of the votes, accounting for 32%, said central banks should not consider switching to price-level targeting. 12% of voters said they were
