BoE chief economist highlights UK supply-side challenges

The UK economy must introduce significant supply-side reforms if it is to be rebalanced, according to the Bank of England's chief economist, Spencer Dale.

Speaking on March 20, Dale acknowledged that most of the discourse around Britain's desire to rebalance its economy has centred on the changes required to domestic demand and consumption patterns.
