Japanese minutes reveal upbeat forecast

The minutes for the Bank of Japan's monetary policy committee meeting on 10 and 11 October present a positive outlook for the country's economy.

"On the current state of Japan's economy, members concurred that it continued to expand moderately, and was likely to continue its sustained expansion with a virtuous circle of growth in production, income, and spending in place," the minutes said.
