BoJ minutes: Japan's economy slowing

Japan's economic growth has slowed further, reflecting weaker growth in business fixed investment and private consumption, say the minutes of the Bank of Japan's Monetary Policy Council meeting on 14 and 15 July.

The minutes showed that the central bank's policy stance remained unchanged. The central bank will assess the future outlook for economic activity and prices, while maintaining a smooth functioning of the money market, the minutes said.
